When you remove the urethane spacer, you decrease the amount of "pack" in the shock. Correct me if i'm wrong.
The track I raced at a few weeks ago was moderately bumpy. I removed the urethane spacers in the shocks of my 414M and the car wasn't bouncing around in the corners as much. It really does make a difference!
