I actually say this one is plausible. Although, it wouldn't make you 1/2-1 lap faster, I think these things help. A paintjob can be a big mental thing, and make you feel faster, causing you to actually go faster, and the trigger thing I think is actually a big deal, I personally have small fingers, and when I use someone else's radio, I have trouble driving their car because I can't get on the brakes fast enough.
