Uh, the firmware/software updating process can be refined to where it doesn't 'brick' your equipment. Just because Nomadio hasn't improved it yet, doesn't mean it cannot be improved. Not flaming ya, just reminding you and Futaba/Nomadio that enabling a user to update their software isn't rocket science, and has been possible for some time now, so their not exactly pioneering it.
