Have you tried adjusting/adding shims on one side or the other of the diff cups, to tighten up your gear mesh inside the gear box?? as the gears wear you may have to swap shims from one side to the other to get good mesh and no skipping ..... I have had diff gear skipping ..... and it suks!!!
