The Lrp pro reverse has no motor limit so yes you can run a 9T. I wouldn't encourage extended running in reverse though. Although I don't think it mentions it in the manual you can change the esc to fwd/brk by holding in the setup button, turning on the esc and holding it for around 3 seconds.
