Theres no prevention, just preparation. Be ready. Have a bucket of salt water ready at the end of each pit table. Like thats going to happen. The battery will blow and the only thing anyone will do is watch, because there will be no water.
That could have happened with any battery. Be ready and know what to do when it happens.
