You can use the bunkers or bags for storing but it won't take long to fill them up. I just let them sit on a cool metal shelf in the basement that is away from anything that would catch on fire. The only time you have to worry about one flaming is when charging or getting the wires shorted out on it some also use steel amo boxes for storage. Although they can ocassionally puff if stored wrong they will only puff not flame.
