I personaly dont know but if the flywheel has a pickup point i would imagine that you could just flip the sensor upside down on the other side of the mtor and it will work exactly the same, you would have to make sure polarity to the sensor doesnt effect readings but ide be pretty confident it would work exactly the same.
You could also email Spectrum and ask them im pretty sure they would tell you the same thing, the only drawback would be heat from the exhaust.
