You stand correct.....It is my spool.....I said eff it I went to my LHS and had one of the guys who really knows his stuff look at it. He said its your spool. So he ran it on the track and you couldn't hear it. Also because there actual weight on it it wouldn't sound like that. when I would put it on the stand there would be no weight on it to it tends to wobble and rattle.
