If your running DSM stuff you don't need a voltage regulator, but beware ! Cheap servos don't last too long with the highg voltage. I have been running lipos now for 3 years for recievers and transmitters. And the servos have held up great! (Futaba and Hitec) I got myself a Losi buggy and find the battery box is pretty small and requires great attension to get a lipo into ! Unless you buy a Losi one for a $50 bucks
