only issue i've had is with the polished pipes denting and staining sometimes. if you don't get the dirt and mud off the pipe right away, it'll be there for good. the hard anodized pipes never stained or dented on me.
however, i do like the shiny pipe look so i think the nickel plating will live up to its name.
They claim that this pipe is nickel plated to prevent it from being stained. Which is awesome because then you can have the really shiny and new look in your car and know that it is going to stay that way.
