I did use the black ofna chrome top for my 8ight. I now use it for my GT2 and use the Losi box for the 8 and 8-T. I haven't had the troubles others have had. I like to be able to carry one box for the nights we run 8th scale. I have been trying to figure out how to mod the box in case something does happen.
