It will be intresting to see when lipo eventually becomes the legal norm for racing. Then all the racers that are blowing up Nimh will be finding intresting means to blow up Lipo's.
I suppose that is nature of competitive people who are willing to take things to the limit for performance. I doubt that competitive nature will go away with a different battery technology.
