I ran my LRP tonight and the car started making a terrible noise, almost like a slipping belt. I knew the signs from the old bonded rotor days with the Novak, and sure enough, the rotor was slipping on the shaft. That's the sintered rotor in the LRP 13.5. So, that sucks. I guess I need to try another, even though this one is only a few weeks old, I'd rather gnaw off my arm than try and deal with LRP's warranty service.

So, I ran the Orion again. I still don't love the way it feels, but it was better. The motor seems like it's more RPM biased. It would get quick by the end of the straights, but lacked grunt out of the corners. And yet, I turned my fastest lap ever on our current layout with the the Orion.

My conclusion? Who f'ing knows. They all seem similar with slight differences. Run the one that's right for you. I give up trying to compare them, I'm clearly not good enough to make a valid comparison.
