To Clarify in Las Vegas:

Cutting Edge Indoor R/C (1/10 only electric, 1/10 nitro on wednesday)
Great indoor track, nice facility, racing on Saturday and Wednesday nights. There is no longer an on road carpet track there, despite what the website says, and no racing on friday. http://www.cutting-edgerc.com

Silverbowl Model Car Facility
(all scales nitro and electric off road, Touring car electric and nitro)
This place is a great facility for 1/8 and 1/10 scale nitro on road cars. http://www.4acesrcracing.net/
This weekend (September 7-9, 07) They are holding the ROAR 1/8 FUEL NATIONALS there. The Offroad track is unsanctioned, and open every day for free (open track). It is a goofy layout, but most suitable for 1/8 scale nitro buggy and truggy.

Finishline Raceway

1/8 scale Nitro Offroad track with lights, racing sometimes on Saturdays. Currently I am not sure if this place is open, as there was recently some change in management, and their forum hs been dead for some time now. Fun track, but very rough, they have a nice timing system. http://www.finishlineraceway.net/

Boulder City Raceway
1/8 scale offroad and 1/4 and 1/5 scale paved oval tracks. Great place, nice facility. Qsara.org site is down, and the facility is very off and on. Points series race is being held there once a month for Nitro 1/8 scale buggy and truggy. I have only seen them race 1/5 scale there once. c2 hobbies in BC has up to date info on this track.

Sin City RC
1/10 scale Electric and Nitro Turck, buggy
A fun little track in North Las Vegas. The facility is built in the sideyard of a house, but is a blast. 1/8 scale truggies and buggys are allowed but the track is too small for them in my opinion. Racing is by invite, and free. They use the AMB transponder system and the track is hard packed abrasive with good traction. more info at http://www.sincityrc.com/ sign up for the forums for location and info.
