Now before anyone jumps all over me, i have to tell ya my very good buddy owns a true X-dyno.... He has dynoed both stock and modded Novarossi's, and now both stock and modded Ninja 28's.. No contest on top end so far, the Ninja 28 will make an easy meal of any 528 on top end..... the Novarossi 28's bore/stroke/rod length are all wrong for high RPM useage......... FYI the AB modded Ninja 28 is still making 1.6 HP at 39 000 RPM..a Novarossi 28 has gone to bed by 35000 RPM...
Anyways if anyone cares to disprove this, i can have your JP mod 528 tested on a X-dyno any time you wish..... Lets see if the JP Modded 528 really is as wild as people think..... IMHO its going to get its ass handed to it by the modded NInja 28 on top end....But that just my specualtion after doing work to several JP modded mills.... the JP Mills i seen had no timing alterations over stock, and unless you do extewnsive timing work a Noiva 528 is not going to have good top end, and even with extensive port work the long stroke works against high RPM useage.....I tell ya guys no other motor has top end like a Ninja 28, and its proving itsef on the X-dyno
But umm a ninja is a nova rossi..(Mario rossi) why are you so defensive about the ninja, no were in this thread has any one doubted what you said BUT you doubt what others say.
Out of curiosity what JP motors have you timed? Ive run a JP v-spec compared to a regular v-spec, very very different motor.
