Actuall I think with the side by side packs you might get slightly better weight distribution because there is a tiny bit more weight in the center of the chassis, and you still have 3 cells each side of the center.
Front to back on the other hand is different as you have more weight towards the front with sadle packs.
But that Tamiya chassis will do it, failing that Integy also used to sell one. Check out the
Integy website in the Tamiya parts section.
