The speedo isn't the easiest to use without PC, and they have been basically unavailable for a while - although they are becoming available again any time now.

The motors are very good IMHO. Good power - expecially torque with the std rotor. There can be the odd problem with sensors though - i have had a couple fail. However, there are 2 fix's for this. Firstly i understand that it is often the solder joints that break down, in which case they can be repaired. The sensor board should also be available as a spare part as well. Bear in mind that these components are exactly the same as Orion and Speed Passion, so they all suffer this slight problem.
