Hey how are you? My names Mick, I'm a Knox member, its great to see someone new looking to join us. To start off with a 2wd buggy is the go, honestly there isnt a great deal of difference between the Team Losi or Team Associated buggys when your starting out, With either the Losi or AE [AE is short for Associated Electrics] once you start racing them and upgrading springs etc you build your own pit box and develop from there.
At Knox the variety of cars is mainly Losi or AE 2wd. Are you buying new or second hand?
The choice is yours between the 2 brands, personally I race a Losi, I love it, find the maintenance easy, parts are stocked in most shops or you can order them online from Model Flight in S.A and they generally look after racers.
