Over the years (quite a few), I have found Picco engines to have very high quality materials and longer lasting than most. Carbs are often a problem, but not the engine itself.
Pinch means nothing. Compression is very important though. Off-road, I have gotten in excess of ten gallons through piccos. On-road is much tougher on engines though.
