the front lug has been move to the center of a reason. Save weight. Now it's a lighter car, one less screw
It's probably be done for the same reason as the motor mount. The mounting screws use to be off center in the MX3. In the MRX4 the motor screws have been centralized to give an even twist in the chassis.
