For Start I do not use tamiya kit diff ball..I up upgrade to tungsten.

Scuff your diff rings with sand paper 800gt....Clean

Apply Diff gease for the Diff Ball...not too much. The more grease the More Dirt!

Apply Anti wear for the thrust....Pack it in there ...

You will get a smoother diff.

Do not tighten it all the way down......you need to break it in with 4/15 sec sessions.....I use a Dremel....

Spin...tighten....spin ..tighten...X2

tighten until you get cannot turn the diff...then back the screw alittle... until the diff pulley will slip just barely.....

You will have to adjust this depending on how the car is handling.....pushing or loose.
