Well now that people are mounting their own tires less there's probably no demand left for a tire horn. I still mount my own though and have found over the years that it is really not all that much harder to put the tires on without a horn so I don't bother to use them. If you are going to mount your own tires though I'll have to warn you to be carefull with the laquor thinner if you plan to use the old contact cement method. The rims of today are not made to stand up to laquor thinner because manufacturers now use CA glue to hold the tires on. So you may melt your rim using laquor thinner.
