they had oil filled shocks back then! they even added them to the front ends of frogs lol. i can still remember hirobo 4wd cars, mugen 4wd 4ws cars and the ever menacing yokomo dogfighter with a front mono shock(this was all before 87 lol) when i first got into it the 2 cars to have in 2wd were the cox scorpion and the tamiya frog (then the rc10 then later the ultima was made) good stuff
