Now that I own both cars...the NTC3 and MTX3 - although I'm presently still building the MTX3 - I'd had to agree with you on the "hop-up" issue and the breaking dog bones.
Once I started building and reading
all of the MTX3 forum and saw the amount of "recommended" hop-ups I'm starting to get that RS4-3 feeling again, you know, when I hop-up the car to death, enough to pay for another car. So I'm going to
try and fight the hop-up urge and run the MTX3 box stock with maybe a front universal switch and engine brace swap only.
For now the NTC3 stays with me with only "the fix" , Dual Chamber pipe, RPM bumper, new fuel tank, and swing rack bearings.
I would have to comment the MTX3 is one solid piece so far...I've only built the drive train.
