on mine.. I'm getting the same temp on the wire side..
on the pinion side it will be alot hotter... I was getting like 180-190+degF.
and did not have any thermal issues..
middle of the can. didn't try taking the temp at the pinion side though. likewis, no thermalling issues as well.
