if it is your first car i will suggest buy a new car. you learn many things if you assemble your own car. from parts to parts, you will know your car better.
you can find half of fun assembling it and the other half watching it rolling. if you buy a second hand you miss half of exitement.
second hand is good the problem is, it will give you hard time finding the problen when the car give in.
