I think I might try something like this after summer. We have an aluminum distributor pretty close and he is very reasonable with price. Plus he loves rc cars too. So would it be best to start off imitating like a xxx-cr/b4 chassis or would it need to be bigger? I was kind of laying some stuff on a paper template I have of a b4 and it's real close.
