Hi Guys

I used to be an Xray Man and now I just switched over to Hot Boddies
I just baught th Cylone Moore-speed edition. What a fantastic looking car

I have one problem that I am sure came up before.
The 27T pinion gear on the motor simply can not reach the spur of 100T.

I am going to run this car on an outdoor asphalt track where they race 1/10, 1/8 and 1/5 scale cars (Both Nitro and Electric)

I am running the LRP Sphere Competition TC ESC and a 3.5Turn brushless motor powered by Team Orion 4800 Platinum 2S LIPO.
I need to get to a final drive ratio of 8.9 for large track for the 3.5Turn motor

I am not sure what the maximum Spur you can have on the Cyclone.
Cyclone IDR = 2.4375 [(Spur/Pinion)* IDR = FDR]
I think a 106T spur and 30T pinion would get me that ratio but I m not sure if they will still reach or even worse fall below the chassis line

Anyone can make any recomendations from experiance?
Thanks very much
