I have built 2 Rs, and the open ball cups do vary quite a bit from packet to packet. On one car, they are relatively tight, and on the other they have noticable play. It must be a batch where they might have suffer less 'shrinkage' on cooling from the molding process. If the problem persists with using the camber link in the shorter positions, get a new set of open ball ends, and it should solve the problem.

Pretty sure I am running the shorter position and I have changed them multiple times, it seems that once they pop - you might as well replace cause it's gonna keep popping. i am going to trim down the axle as well. My issues is that it happens with the lightest brush, not like I am smacking the pipes at full tilt.....
