yes it works fine but you have a hidden worry there the plastic gear could be easily broken up !
I managed to break the plastic gears on my 2015 once. Made the mistake of installing the high torque servo saver from Kawada on the SV10.... it was so high torque that it didn't do much servo saving! Fortunatley plastic gears are cheap!!
I also stripped the one and only plastic gear in my metal geared 9402 before!
