Remember to compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges!! Voltage is only one aspect of battery performance AND price. A 1.17 discharged at 20 amps and a runtime of 300 seconds is not the same as a 1.17 at 30 amps with 400 runtime. The price reflects overall performance so equating dollars per volt is a rather narrow way to figure value. If it works for you than go with it,but I think you'll find the effort to be frustrating at best. Good Luck
