I have been using Spectrum since it came out. I have only needed to use the cap that Spectrum put out to run on my 12th scale with the LRP bl system. However with a no bl system I have no need for the cap. The LRP original Sphere/Neo 3 star motor combo, with the Novak GTX there is no need.
