What size pinion would you suggest for C027 motor for a track that the longest straight away of roughly 60 feet. The rest of the track is all turns with one other short straight. I've tried a 27 tooth pinion and it feels pretty good, but someone else told me they were running a 17 tooth. Seems kind of small to me.
Do you think I should try a 25 tooth?
running foam tires? rubbers? i think my local track is setup similar to the dimensions you are describing... try starting at a rollout of 26.5-27mm
