indeed only a matter of time. the take-up in the US seems to be big. It will be the in thing for sure. sub-c's will be a thing of the past.
Remember when BL was introduced? Most people said it'd never make it, and never replace gear in mod guys cars... hrmmm Now you see a handful of guys at a meet still using brushed.
Everything else is lipo powered, planes, helicopters, all sorts. It's kind of ancient still running nimh in our cars...
It's nice to say, "yeah lets do it", but as mentioned, there's things that need clarification first. And safety is really important.
I've seen guys at some local track's using lipo, they also use ceramic fire-pots when charging. Perhaps an absolute requirement when trackside....
