Our track is pretty decent with 100-120ft straight, nice newer blacktop, sprayed with sugar water. With my G4S I've been running 1.2/30wt, and med-soft springs(pink/purple TM)
And on the pistons any reason I shouldn't use the adjustable pistons?
Thanks

The adjustable pistons just give you the ability to make minor adjustments in your dampening without having to rebuild the shock. I would recommend using them since it makes the piston adjustment easier with no downside.
As for a starting setup I was previously running a G4s with the same spring setup & 40wt/ 1.2mm 2 hole pistons locally and am using 25/20lb springs w/ 60wt oil & 2 hole fr & 3 hole re pistons.
