If your radio is close enough the signal will overpower the interfering signal and it will appear all is OK. As soon as you get a few feet away things go haywire.

The problem isn't technology. The problem is people. Too many people think the rules don't apply to them, and no one wants to enforce the rules. One thing that's different in Europe is you will follow the rules or you will go home. One thing we are sorely missing is courtesy. Courtesy for fellow racers, courtesy for the track, and courtesy for the surrounding neighborhood. If anything kills RC racing in the US it will be a lack of courtesy and respect for others.
