My personal experience and opinion is that the GT version cannot accommodate the Touring Tires' size, hence warping of Tamiya T-Bars is common now. The Kawada T-Bars are highly recommended, if you do not have the spare cash to keep changing the Tamiya T-Bars all the time.

Your Trinity Street Spec is presumed to have the real Fibreglass T-Bar in the kit.

Damaging the rear bearings depends on what motor you run your car with. And also how frequent you do your maintenance. My problem comes with the front bearings damaging frequently.
