The .21 Cobra is supposedly a awesome onroad motor. The offroad version is very impressive and creating a stir in the US offroad scene.

There is a new .12 Cobra coming soon but has anyone run a 173R12 to give feedback.
We tried the X3 motor and although it was reliable and easy to tune it was not a match for the Rody's and JP's etc, as you would expect from a motor less than half the price. I would say on smaller or carpark tracks it would be OK but they really need some modding to be really competitive. The Cobra 21 onroad was similar. They are a good club racing engine but require a bit of mod work by someone who knows what they are doing to compete at a higher level , .

I have some new Cobra 12's and the New X1 Cobra 21 onroad on there way..they are reported to be factory modified out of the box and competitive with anything available. I will report our findings as soon as I can..
