Supply and demand... if there is a demand someone will supply it. companies will and can raise prices because of you and me who wants to drive a car. who want, and more want not need. oil companies is just any other business, they exist to make money. you want to send a message to this company? do your part, do not use it.... otherwise just enjoy the ride.
