Using that Kyosho tip certainly doesn't hurt anything and if someone wants to do it for a little extra insurance then that is fine. I don't go to the trouble of doing something like that cause in all my years of nitro racing I have never had a fuel line come off the nipple.
I've seen pressure lines come off and it leans out the motor and made the temp shoot up. So I just use it just in case. Plus I don't want something stupid like that ending my race early.
