The ceramics get the motor to spool faster. I think the picco based motor have so much rev already that the ceramics are not an improvement. If any thing it rev too quickly IMO. In the nova based motors I think it is a good feature. The nova based motors are more linear and the ceramic help to rev the motor faster.
