I think the Dirt Claws were trimmed. The beads were cut to accomodate the larger diameter of the Blast wheels. Dirt claws are standard maxx tire sized. HTH.

I'm also thinking of doing the same but I'm afraid I might not cut the beads perfectly and just cause the wheel to wobble.
