bearing noise
Anyone have this problem? Both my friend's and mine had a "gritty" sound to the bearings when we first run the motor (not mounted on the car). We decided to oil it and it seemed to disappear, but now the noise is back. What oil do you recommend we use?
I also notice a bit of play on the shaft, is this normal? If it were a brushed motor, i would normally shim it and take as much play out as possible....just wondering if it is wise to do.
Performance otherwise is very good, We've run plenty packs through it and its been consistent all the way!! Finally we can spend more time and concentrate on the setup of the car without having to think of motor issues.
