I would go for a new engine $110 into a MT12 at 1.15hp. If the motor runs and you know the crank and bearings are good replace the rod and get it pinched and use as a backup motor. Thanks TC. I didn't see much for pricing on that site but it is definitely comprehensive! Yes, my MT12 ran very strong before it died on me. I would like to rebuild it. I would really like an Mugen X12!
P.S. My inside scoop on the Ninja wasn't as good as I thought. $250. What is the going rate for these engines?
