Gearing a Neo 1 Brushless w/ 415MSX
So I'm confused as to what the ideal gearing is for my brushless motor. Any of you local Socal Tamiya guys can chime in if you're familiar with this motor. I ran a 102 spur, and a 40 pinion...which gave me a final drive ratio of about 5.57. My car felt REALLY slow in the 19T mode on my LRP Sphere Brushless ESC.
Any suggestions? Note: I was practicing at the Tamiya racetrack in Aliso Viejo with the brushless, since some of you might be familiar with the track size/layout.
