Yes the Recoil is a good, but wait until better tires, hop-up shocks, aluminum parts a new grphite chassis from a company in Japan comes out then the guys racing Recoils will think they have to have a $400 Recoil to be competative.
TC was huge when the cars where all plastic, fiberglass and were hard to break and could run easily on a rough un-prepared asphalt surface. The adjustments were limited. Tires were not the best but they would easily last longer them 3/4 of a run and would even get better as the run progressed not worse. What people were racing 8 years ago were also the same as the RTR's from from the same time. Today if you tried to race with an RTR you will get driven over.
