g'day
just about all the points made are correct but doesn't it come back to the club racers that hold the sport together. Think about this if a manufacture came out with a car that only needed minimal upgrades every couple years and spares were readily available at your local hobby shop how many people would by the latest and greatest (especial if it is competitive for these years). More spares should mean cheaper parts? The cheaper it is to maintain a car the more people this would attract to the sport. But unfortunately we are our own worst enemy.
This applies to car, radio, electronic and battery manufactures (these people only put out so many units of a perticular item then thats it unless there is a great demand for it.)
thanks for your time in reading this, i could be barking up the wrong tree but i think this is whats needed. Power to the people.
Steven.
