Steve here's a suggestion. You should drill and tap a hole in each of the aluminum hingepin mounts so a setscrew can be used to lock the pin in place. This prevents the hingepin from rotating in the the aluminum pieces and enlarging the holes. The nylon arms should be the only thing rotating/rubbing on the pins.
