For gearing on a ROAR i'd start at 6 overall as that is a good place to start for UK tracks with purple + spring and red - spring. For motors i'd recommend TeamScream/eXpress (UK). Jeremy (TeamScream/eXpress) is a good person to deal with (phone him up as the website isn't updated a lot ) . If you order brushes from Jeremy (teamscream UK website) either get the H1 brushes or X1 brushes. If you can get the Red power brush break in drops as they really seem to stop as much wear and don't gumm the motor up half way through a run, just 1 drop on each brush. Run it in then put it in the car and race.
